What is 14k gold fill?

It's an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another base metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. As a matter of fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is an economical alternative to solid gold.

How do I keep my brass jewelry shiny?

Oils from your skin and the oxygen in the air can create a patina (discoloration or change in luster) on brass . If you want to slow the patina process, don't wear it to the pool, in the shower or while you sweat it out at the gym and store it in a secure, dry place in between wears. Brass will naturally darken and some people love this look. But if you want to make it shine like new again, my favorite (and easiest) method for cleaning is a Sunshine Cloth. This will also work on all other types of base and precious metal jewelry.

Absolutely! We offer repairs on any Rebekah Vinyard Jewelry purchased through us or any of our authorized retailers. Any manufacturing flaw, broken clasp, chain, or jump ring issue is fixed free of charge. You are responsible for shipping the item to us and we will cover return shipping.

Repairs must be authorized by Rebekah Vinyard Jewelry before being shipped to our studio. Please contact us with the following information: item description, repair issue, a photo of the damage, and your desired return shipping address.

We try our best to repair any item made by our studio, some older items may require components that are no longer in stock or discontinued and will not be eligible for a repair.

Repairs are typically completed and shipped out within 1 week of receipt of the item.

Help! I lost an earring!

We offer replacement pieces at half the cost of the original purchase price. Contact us with the item you are looking to replace and we will send you an invoice for the desired piece.
